We've been having trouble getting my youngest to sleep since school started back. I think his mind is in overdrive now that he's actually using it. I started playing him the mp3 and within a few days he would be fast asleep before the mp3 had even finished. Thank you!
The boys decided to create an impromptu musical in the garden in the paddling pool and I was the audience, who also got to participate. The musical was a bizarre kaleidoscope of Star Wars, magic act, and water, culminating in the fantastic number 'I'm a bee and I'm gonna sting you - STING!'
We were late home the other night, it was quiet and still. Jonathan wanted to see if we could spot Jupiter, so I fired up my Google Sky Map app and we spent ages locating and naming many different stars. The boys and I had a wonderful time and they trotted off to bed very happy
The Mills Family Joy. woke up to a little body next to me in bed and my bed was wet. Then the boys fought every time I left the room. Finally found that both our male rabbits were out (one dug his way out) and were trying to kill each other. All before work!
The Mills Family So tired. Youngest Mills keeps invading our bed at silly o'clock (between 1am and 4am). Really need a Super Kingsize bed these days!
The Mills Family Ah, the joy of my sons enjoying (and copying) the All Blacks and Tongan Haka's that we Sky d for them this morning
The Mills Family entered The Feeling Good Challenge
The Mills Family The Cloud gazing Challenge
We recently had a day out at Mini in the Park at Santa pod Raceway and I needed something to occupy the children before the next stunt show started, so we did a bit of cloud gazing.
Amazingly, not all the clouds we spotted were vehicle related, though Sebs did indeed spot a Monster Truck cloud. Jbird witnessed a very interested cloud that he said looked like The Grim from Harry Potter Prisoner of Azkaban on it's side.
Time went very quickly and soon the children were once again gripped by the action in the arena just as much as they had been cloud gazing!
