The I LOVE YOU signing Challenge
Appreciating our families and letting them know that we love them

We challenge you to learn the three signs that say I LOVE YOU. We often forget to let each other know how much we really love each other and take it a little bit for granted. This is a really simple and fun way to use sign language to tell the members of our family just how much we love them – you can use the signs and the words, or just the signs and make it your family’s secret code... Ideal for all ages and stages, this is a great game to play – just make sure you have the other person’s attention whilst you sign!

We have a little sign for I love you in our family. It has helped us when we've been scared to go places, or something is worrying us. When we hold hands, 3 'i love you' squeezes reminds us that we love each other. My 5 year old has recently started doing 4 squeezes as a reply to my 3 squeezes for 'I love you more'. <3 We are, thanks to this challenge using the ASL one handed sign for I love you too. Spreading the love :)

The boys and I googled different ways to say I Love You in sign language. We came across this sign which I personally think looks like a 'Rock On' sign but we went with it. Yesterday as the boys drove off with their Dad Zach stuck his hand out the window signing I Love You as he drove away. Cute!!
