Naughty Mummy, had her feet up and did nothing! It was after a particularly long week and for once mummy believed she deserved a rest.
The boys didn't want to do the challenge - 'sit still? Why?' LOL
I decided to do the first one on my own. Normally once the boys are in bed I run around tidying up, getting things ready for tomorrow before sitting down to some TV, internet or reading. It's rare for me to do nothing. So once the boys were in bed I came down stairs, turned everything off and just sat and chilled out. I did feel a lot less stressed afterwards so will try it again soon.
Lay on a sandy beach and watched the wind turbines, out at sea, slowly going round - so peaceful.
Well, we did try! S cracked after 4 minutes, T was happy for 9 minutes and I really struggled after 5 minutes! We've tried again since and are doing a bit better, but clearly we need to work out how to 'do nothing' better! A real summer challenge for us
Hannah and i sat out on the deck and enjoyed the nice cool breeze
Well i have loved the last half hour, i have laid on my bed doing absolutely nothing, its been emotional to stop doing nothing, but im sure i will do it again very soon xxxx
Its realy fun and relaxing.
I love this challenge - I tried to do nothing on the hammock in the garden but my 8 year old came and asked me to do something for him, so later I did nothing in bed for 20 minutes - and fell asleep. I feel a whole lot better now!
