Daisy is such a clever girl but shes sensitive too. It was her first day back at playgroup this week and I made sure i used lots of possitive comments before she went. I told her I love her as mcuh as she loves Buzz from Toy Story and more on top. It seemed to work a treat as she skipped right in with her Toy Story bag. This is her on her first day.
I love your challenges they are a reminder that simple things can make a difference. My girls started back in play group today. They stay for a few hours on their own. They came darting into the house after their session hand finished. I hugged them both and told them they had been amazing. I used positive examples as to why they were both stars by referred back to activities we had carried out on the weekend eg first football class. Maybe I should remember to tell my husband more too)
This is going really well with the middle two children, Liam told Erin 'I love you because you helped me learn to ride my bike'. I've always made a point of telling everyone I love them every day but it's great to encourage the whole family to do it and give reasons why.
Finding getting everyone together at the same time long enough difficult but I have made a point of telling every family member that I love them and why. Next step is to get everyone else doing it, there are a couple of family members that could really do with sharing the love right now.
