Went for a walk along Severn Beach, rolled down a grass hill, threw stones in the sea, rock climbed, then cloud gazed. Ollie said he saw one that looked like a fire engine with the water hose squirting far and Eddie said he saw one that looked like a cheeseburger. It was good fun to relax with them and we were fortunate to have such a beautiful sunny day. We ended the day with ice creams =D
Cloud gazed with Hannah today did it from our window cause of the heat out side.
We recently had a day out at Mini in the Park at Santa pod Raceway and I needed something to occupy the children before the next stunt show started, so we did a bit of cloud gazing.
Amazingly, not all the clouds we spotted were vehicle related, though Sebs did indeed spot a Monster Truck cloud. Jbird witnessed a very interested cloud that he said looked like The Grim from Harry Potter Prisoner of Azkaban on it's side.
Time went very quickly and soon the children were once again gripped by the action in the arena just as much as they had been cloud gazing!
My daughter thinks there was a line of dinosaurs all walking home across the sky with their mouths open ready for dinner!
It was very bright watching the clouds moving around but very relaxing too.
I saw a white rabbit with a pocket watch!!
And an elephant holding an umbrella in its trunk.
I also saw a packet of sweets with a candy cane popping out of the top of it
We play this a lot on car journeys, it keeps T amused for at least 30 miles :-) He is very good at it, yesterday there were dragons, snakes with hats, gods with lazer eyes and kittens sitting on cakes. He makes up stories about them so I get entertained too.
Had a fantastic day only cost £1.50 to park for the day and lots to do lots of walking and then had lunch while we look at the clouds and tried to make things out of them. Then more walking then went into the park then went and had a cream Tea £4.50 (Tea,Scone,Jam and Yummy Clotted Cream) then more walking through the beautiful grounds Fed Swans,Ducks and horses then £1.00 Icecreams worked out cheap day out.... Take Ball and Bike next time :o)
We lay in the garden on a blanket with lots of cushions and spotted lots of shapes and animals in the sky. It wasn't our first time and it won't be the last. The sky is and endless canvas for my girls imagination and development.
